I'm looking to fit hardwood floor on the ground level of my house but I'm concerned about the skirting boards.
I've recently wallpapered and painted the walls, so do not particularly want to risk damaging this by removing the skirting board. I don't want to use beading, as I think this would spoil the finish.
Is there a tool/method to cut the skirting board so that the floor can slide and fit in underneath?
By the way, I haven't bought the flooring yet, so don't know how it's gonna be fitted or depth of it, etc. - sorry.
Any answers v much appreciated.
Thx in advance
