I had my bathroom suite put in about 3 1/2 years ago and have noticed that the shower screen has been leaking causing damp on one wall. We are now planning to rip out the bath and install a new one with a new screen.

Will I need to replace the aquapanel now that it is has been exposed to damp for a long time? None of the tiles are falling off although I'm worried that this is now not a strong since it has got wet.

Thanks in advance

Aquapanel (cement board) itself is unaffected by water & should be OK as long as there are no visible signs of damage & whatever is supporting it is still intact; is it fixed to timber stud work or mechanically fixed to the wall? You must let it dry out thoroughly before re-tiling.

Thanks Richard. I will be removing the old tiles and everything in advance so I will what state it is in before fitting the new suite.
