Looking for some advice not sure if this is the right chat. I’ma gas engineer to trade so this is out my area. My gable end is letting damp through to the inside wall. I’ve had wildly barring quotes to fix it. It’s an old brick house so no pkaster board. I’ve been qouted to damp wash treat external other guy said damp wash paint it then damp wash it again and drill holes to spray foam into the wall. Qoutes have ranged from £800 to £3000 what should I expect ball park figure and what trade actually does this work is it roughcasters painters plasters. also is a bungalow with loft conversion any help much appreciated thanks
Much appreciated.
