Decking - would this be diy'able?

I'm wanting to deck this area, I was thinking it would be a freestanding unit and not need fixing down? Is that right?

What be the best way to raise it off the floor? Those adjustable pads, timber posts? It slopes towards the house.

Thank you for any ideas.

That's is correct, towards the house and
To the right towards a drainage hole (which seems to be defunct)
