I had a problem with my computer so had to reinstall,its vista home basic,i use to be able to play dvds but now cannot,i get a message on window media player a compatitable dvd decoder is not installed, i have installed avs but windows media player is still coming up saying compatitable dvd decoder not installed when i insert a dvd, how do i get it to play on the avs i installed.

Go here: http://www.xpcodecpack.com/ and install the codec pack.
