Got a bit of downtime on my hands so going to service my Makita battery drills.

I've got approved grease and parts.

Any non-petroleum based degreasers recommeded for cleaning of plastic parts?

Thanks all,
I think have most of the above in the chemicals cabinet. They've been there for years though and with rain ingress the labels and writing have came off.

What's carb cleaner, crank, amerillove? Carbon cleaner?

Thanks, don't drive so don't have any of that.

you sure about the carb cleaner?? the stuff I have destroys plastic, quite quickly, it may be ok on the gears etc, but wouldnt want it anywhere near the case.
after all it is supposed to break down petrol glaze/deposits.
