Hi
I have recently put in a concrete footing to support the leg of a balcony.
The footing is 225mm deep concrete. On top of the footing there are 2 layers of concrete blocks with mortar.
The top of the concrete footing is therefore 220mm below the finished ground level.
It suddenly dawned on me that it may not be deep enough when considering the effect of frost.
Do I have anything to worry about in reality ?
Cheers.
