Dewalt 18v battery...original v copy/ unbranded !!

Hi Guys......I have often been tempted by alternative unbranded 18v batteries for sale at a considerably lower price than the branded item. I am talking particularly about Dewalt .
Question is......has anyone out there got any experience of these unbranded batteries and if so was their experience?

not got experience with drill batteries but once bought a immitation laptop battery and was ok for a month or 2 but after that it was absolute rubbish. you get what you pay for generally

there are so many good offers around with dewalt kits at the min
buy a kit with the batts you need sell the rest on e bay and get genuine for the generic cost

Then kick yourself when your own tool packs up only a few weeks after selling the new one.
