Hi,

Im wondering what the difference is between a sample chamber and an inspection chamber?

I have drawings stating a inspection chamber before my sewage treatment plant and then a sample chamber after the treatment plant, is there actually any difference between the 2?

Cheers,
Danny

Inspection chamber should have channel running through, effluent passes by on its merry way. Provides access for rodding or jetting should need arise.

Sample chamber I would think allows for retention of some effluent in a sump to allow a bucket to be lowered to remove a small quantity for testing. Bacteria/suspended solids etc in the final effluent can be monitored to assess the function of the treatment plant.
