Hi there,
My wife recently tried to clean the hob burner bodies using the Oven Pride liquid. Looks like the stuff was too strong and has eaten away a lot of the top layer / coating of the burner bodies.
Do you know if they are still safe to use? I tried using one of them but the flames were quite yellow. I think I could clean the bodies more and remove the flaking bits, but not sure if the coating was there for a reason (more than aethetics).
We can't see to find any replacements anywhere (which is also not helped by the fact we can't access the underneath to look for the model number).
Any help advice is most welcome!
Thanks in advance
