I'd like to replace the current CH & HW timer which is an 'ACL Switchmaster SM 400', for an electronic one that allows me to program it over 7 days with varying temperatures at different times of the day instead of simply on or off as the current one does.
Is it possible to get one of the same brand that wouldn't require re-wiring? I searched this forum but only came up with this thread in which the OP had opted for a different make which ended up needing re-wiring. //www.diynot.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=537152#537152 If it makes a difference the boiler is an 'Ideal Classic FF230'.
I am clueless, hence the username, but if I can find out what needs doing and how easy it may or may not be then I can ask my Dad to do it for me! Thanks in advance for any input
