dishwasher fittings!!!
im looking at buying a dishwasher
however i have one question.
the hot and cold taps under my sink are been used
by the washing machine,
i have no other wather pipes i can connect to so
how do i go about connecting the dishwasher to the water supply
that is also been used by the washing machine?
any help would be great.

Fit a Y-piece and you can buy a longer hose if needed.See this.

do i just pop one of these on each of the water taps under the sink
re connect the pipes to the washing machine and dishwasher
and hey presto?

Most dishwashers have just one inlet, a cold mains feed. If so you will only need one.

Do many people still use their hot water to fill a washing machine? I have a pretty limited supply so I use one of these connectors to join the hot and cold together and attach it to the main. I know it must use more electricity to heat to the required temperature but I much prefer a higher leccy bill than a luke warm bath!
