My husband installed our new dishwasher and shortly after we noticed a buckling in our countertop. So he moved the d/w forward as far as possible, but we are still nervous of it ruining the countertop. We have siliconed the underneath of the counter and we have put a piece of tinfoil in place to direct the steam away from the countertop when the d/w is in use, but we have heard you can purchase something to add to the d/w that directs the steam out and away. Has any one heard of this part and if so, where can we buy one? Thanks in advance!

Hey. I wanna know this too!

We've got beech. No dishwasher yet, but just making space for one. I am anti-steam. I want to be the steam nemesis. Advice please, for a would-be steam nemesis.
