Diverter Valve

I turned the heating off at the programmer so that the boiler would only come on if the need for hot water was needed and about 5 mins ago the boiler just kicked in so just waiting now to see if the water gets hot. If it does do you think there might be a loose connection somewhere as it cant be a fault as it would not be working. Would it?

Its a barrat home and yes it is good pipe work LOL
