My C&M combi 80 has the following problem. The error lights for "fan running but pressure switch not operated" come on every now and then , not permanantly but just at the most annoying times, like when im in the shower. I have checked the hoses and made sure that both holes in the pressure thingy ?? in the flue are clear.... The manual says check the flue ?? but for what. It looks like i may just plump for a new boiler ?? Having said that my washer went off the other day and thats fixed now.. Gas is another thing again though,

Your boiler is quite old but no reason why it cant be repaired , you cant however do this yourself Im afraid, you need an RGI to sort your problem out
