Bathroom being renovated, but we're doing the painting ourselves. In the toilet I guess I can just use normal emulsion? In the bathroom do I have to use special paint? It's about 4m2, high ceilings (just over 3m) and the tiling goes up to 2m70. There's no extractor fan - but there is a big window, which we tend to leave open in warmer months and whenever we have a bath. I've heard that bathroom paint is a pain to apply, but I'm not sure if I have to use it or if I can just use normal emulsion paint. Help?

you would be best using acrylic based emulsion for both rooms as it is washable and will offer some water resistance, you can get a specialist bathroom/kitchen paint but it is basicly acrylic emulsion just twice the price ;)

bathroom&kitchen paint is vinal silk in english ;) you pay for them two words (bathroom and kitchen) not the quality

Is there a difference between acrylic based emulsion and acrylic based eggshell? We normally use a paint that is acrylic matt for walls/ceilings. Can I use that in the bathroom?
