I'm getting a new central heating system installed as part of a Gov freebie but I'm concerned the new radiators that are being fitted aren't as good as the ones they're removing?

The old ones look better (bigger, double insides?) - am I overthinking this?

Ta!

Measure the height/length of the old one and compare it to the one that replaced it, is there a big difference?
No pretty much the same. It's just the old ones seem to have double 'v's inside where as the new ones only have single 'v's - I'm certain there's better terminology!

You'll be talking about the convection fins. ;)

There is a difference in output between the 2 types of course but you'll have a much more efficient and warmer system as it is for nowt so as suggest I wouldn't worry about it.
