Hello,

I have had a search around for this but can't find anything. I have just tiled our kitchen floor with slate tiles and left a wee gap at any edges. Can i just grout this with the normal grout or do i have to use flexible stuff in case of expansion?

As always, help is appreciated.

Depending how wide the gap is, the details should be on the manufacter instruction for the maximum gap for that grout is allow.

Thanks for your reply, but I guess I am more concerned about whether I should make allowances for the floor moving a bit.

you will get very little expansion with a slate tile floor .
just go ahead and grout any gaps you have against the walls.
