Door reveal: accurate trimming

I'm currently wallpapering my hallway.
For the front door reveal, I normally wall paper up to the reveal, trying to get the trim as close as possible.
I then paint the reveal with emulsion, as this area is exposed to the weather when you open the door.
Doing this requires *accurate* paper trimming around the door reveal.
Any tips on doing this? Or are there cladding strips for this that will give a neat finish?

Thanks
Mike

couldn't work out what you were saying at first but just got it

trim the paper an inch or so over the reveal. then run a sharp knife down the paper keeping it flat to the reveal corner. You can finish this off with a "L" shaped profile availiable at the sheds. This you can get in white plastic or wood and paint to suit. It will tidy up the edge and prevent any mishaps with people coming in and knocking the exposed edge.

This is exactly what I was thinking of, to protect the trimmed edge. A white L-shaped profile might be best.
