I am ordering a new composite backdoor and have a choice between low alu or normal pvc treshold. I would like to go for low alu treshold but once its been tiled on the inside, 22mm high treshold will only be around 7mm in height.
I am not sure if that is enough or too close (especially by the time door mat is put in etc).
Also, is it possible to have the door slightly raised off the (brick cill) with mortar bed to add another 5mm height of the cill?
