hi i,am thinking of putting a dormer in my attic space,but instead of windows put floor to ceiling glass doors about 3 metres wide . but where you would normaly have slates or tiles infront of the dormer window down to the eves ,i am having from the bottom of the glass doors flat straight out to the eves so you can walk out . so from the bottom of the glass doors to the eves would be about a 1mtr

right now mi question:- what would i put down and how ,so i could walk on the area

Various options, probably more than mentioned here.
