Hi

My architect and builder are both currently away and I don't like stepping on their toes asking the planners

My plans do not show exact distances , but I could do with knowing if there are standard , nationally applied minimums the dormer sides need to be from the gable end wall , and how far away from the front of the house the dormers need to be set back.

I recall the architect saying they had to be 50cm in from the side ( but cannot recall if this was 50 cm from the internal wall or 50cm from the outside wall of the house ??

I think the dormers have to be about 1m from the front of the house but would be grateful if anyone could confirm if there are specific minimums - would be good if it could be a bit nearer 90cm !

Thanks
Graham
