Dot and dab wall huge gap from thermlite, kitchen cabinets

I have had a new extension plastered and due to lining up old and new walls some plasterboard is about 20 - 25mm dabbed from the blockwork maybe more in places and you can get fingers between no problem!

What would be the best way to fit kitchen cabinets in this case?

100mm screws, 7mm drill holes and brown plugs into the masonry.

And this is a good time to use cabinet hanging rail rather than individual fixings.
