Here is a tip to stop that pull cord getting grubby...
From an empty bottle of spray type household cleaner, take the pump tube out from the empty spray mechanism, wash it out well, and thread it on the pull cord, before attaching the pull knob - that way the pull cord stays cleaner. :LOL: :LOL: :LOL:

The heater (configured to a 1kW setup) is fed in 1.5.mm heat resisting immersion type flex, off a 5 amp fuse in the Existing FCU outside the door.

Flex is attached with cable ties (black heatproof ones) to the fixing points of the existing failed heater, and run to the replacement heater position.

Well it aint a DIY job - the flex outlet is too well labelled.....and I mean overkill!

I do hope this isn't on the top floor, with a loft above!

Some sole left that job thinking he/she/it had done a good job!

Works dunnit!
