Hi I've got some downlighters in my kitchen, 12v looks like. They seemed to last for 3 years or co, then I've had to replace a couple of bulbs. One of these bulbs went out again more or less straight away. So I want to check the housing the bulb goes into. I didn't fit these myself, and it's not obvious how to extract the fitting from the plasterboard ceiling. The whole fitting can be pulled down an inch or so, obviously against a spring, but not right out. Do I just pull a bit harder do you think? If not how do I extract it please? TIA for any help. - Terry.
