DPM Sheeting or not?

Been scratching my heads guys....Im putting up a stud wall, against a 300mm thick external wall, which has no cavity. Im attaching the stud wall via the top and bottom, not through the brick, and will leave a gap between the battons/insulation and the brick.

I know I have to put a vapour barrier up, but should I also put DPM sheeting up against the wall, before putting the stud wall up?
