Drainage pump needed

Im after a pump to help with the drainage of my garden.

I have put in a french drain to help flow the water away but due to the orientation of my garden it has little place for the water to go.

Im planning of having the water flow into a under ground container and then use a pump to pump it to a drain.

What type of pump would I need? Are there pumps which will turn on when the level reaches a certain level? Where can I get these pumps?

Make sure you have a rigid pipe and not 'lay flat hose'

And don't let the waterboard ever know and hope their drain never blocks because its silted up with your garden. Cos they'll come a knockin with a big fat bill.

What if I just had it pumping on to the patio and it flows down the drain with the rest of the rain water gathered there?
