I have a Drayton Tempus Seven which is quite an old one, about 15 years old coloured light and Dark Brown. There are two problems with it:-
1. When the heating side is 'on' but has been overridden and is actually 'off' the programmer is still keeping the hot water side on even when it is programmed to be permenently 'off'. Is the right or is my programmer faulty.
2. I'm thinking of changing the programmer anyway as here in Scotland we get a lot of power cuts and when that happens the programme goes to pot. If I change it for the new Drayton Tempus Seven which has battery backup, will the new one fit on the existing backplate without re-wiring, and will the new one not have the problem with the hot water cycle?
thanks
