Drayton TRV - maintenance

Hi

I have a Drayton Thermostatic Radiator Valve that seems to be sticking. Can the head be removed (without draining the system) for maintenance and so allow me to try manaully moving the valve?

I can't find any maintnenance info on the Drayton website.

You can remove only the thermostatic head. The part that sticks is the pin in the valve, which is wet...

Thanks - dumb question but i can't see how the head comes off. Do i just get manly with it and pull or is there a secret??!!

most draytons have a chrome ring, turn it anticlockwise looking from the top.....might be tight
