hi all was wondering if anyone could help, am putting some hooks up in garage for shovels, spades etc and as its a conny fab garage am i able to drill it and if so what depth etc?
Was thinking maybe 20mm (3/4")? as obviously each hook will not be holding a great deal of weight...
Have tried the 'no nails' approach and also the 'serious stuff' by BOSTICK via screwing the said hooks to wooden lats,
The less said about it, the better...
any replies greatly appreciated.

If you want several fixing then a timber baton screwed to wall first will reduce the drilling to a few holes, I drill right thru mine and fixed with wall plugs , then went outside and ground down any protruding screws with angle grinder.

To avoid drilling the panels of a pre-fab garage I replaced some of the bolts holding the concrete panels together with longer ones, adding timber blocks under the bolt heads. Then I screwed boards and shelf brackets etc. to the blocks.

Thats a good move....on mine, I drilled where the two adjoining panels were bolted together, and fixed a timber lath in place. Saves interfering with the rebar in the concrete panels.
