driveway into garage

Hello.
I have 1930s house with a original old but quite solid looking tall (2m in height) stone wall as a boundary wall with my neighbour next to my drive way. I have gained a building permission to make this into a garage.
I am wondering how I could reuse this wall without knocking it down.

Is it your wall ? is the neighbour ok with the possible alterations / knocking down?

Yes my wall. I do not think the neighbor has much view so far... but I do not want to be intrusive by knocking it down if possible.
