Earth bonding and bathroom pullcord question

Do you have to earth your kitchen sink and water pipes in the bathroom to the CU? (All pipes are copper and shower is metal / brass, but upstairs pipes have 2 plastic bends on them)

If so, what size cable do you need to use?

Also,

I would like to move my pull cord light in my bathroom. It is about 1.5m away from the shower (next to the door) but I would to put it about 1m away from my shower (other side of the door, makes more sense to be there as you currently have to take about 2 steps into room before you can pull the pullcord). Is this OK to do, or is it too close to the shower?
