Earth Bonding to Gas

Hello,

Been asked by a friend of the family if i can bond the Main Gas pipe to CU, is this notifiable, also what form to i need to use (MWC?)

Firstly, are you competent to do the work?
Upgrading main equipotential bonding is non-notifiable.
Is there a MET as opposed to using the rail in the consumer unit?
Afaik it is acceptable to use a MWC for installing main equipotential bonding.
