As a sparks have been asked to help a friend wire his new boiler.
I'm used to valiants but they seem to have changed the PCB on the newer boiler.

Old boiler potterton suprima had.
Live (brown)
Neutral (blue)
Earth
Switch live (black)
Pump (black)

New boiler has the green plug on the left with 4 terminals. (Live, N, earth and RT)

Am I correct in thinking the following:
Live , neutral and earth as normal
Switch live in with the live
Pump in RT

Remove link on the 24v side

Thanks chaps

Switched live to RT
Pump to switched live

Switched Live to RT
Pump LNE to green pump plug X14 next to mains plug. This will ensure boiler controls pump.

Thanks - I only have a 5 core into the boiler
X1 = Live,N,E & switch live in RT.
X14 = Pump live only - do I need to jump across my N+E from X1 into X14?

Do I need to remove the jump lead on the 24v side?

Five core will be OK. Use L only at X14 and pick up N and E for the pump from where the pump is closest to, spur or S/Y plan wiring centre.

Don't link anything between X1 & X14

Remove the 24V link.
