Eight lives left

Vet meant twill take 9 lifetimes to pay his 6 wk bill for full board and 24 hr care ... 168 hrs per wk x 6 = 1008 hrs at £125 per hr to inc medication, nursing and specialist treatments = kerching ! £125,000 .. And you cannot even recognise the cat .. it was black wasn't it ?
divide by 9 = £14,000 per life.
Bupa or pet insurance paid for it ;)

I LOVE CATS ....

my girl ..Purdy .. is an ex RSPCA PUSSY...
a massive fat cat ....
she was in a cage for 6months waiting to be adopted , in the end the girl told me purdy was dancing on hind legs an doing tricks to try an get a "Home"
but due to being in a cage 5'by3' she was never picked as she was hugely fat ...... POOR FAT PUSS

I took her home .. an she hasnt lost any weight but she sleeps dutiful(like a dog !) next to our bed every morn an she follows me around the house all the time ...

when Im out at night my wife says she sits on the windowsill an watches for me
an when a taxi engine stops nearby she is mewling an crying ...lol
thats Unconditional Love ...

I did read in the paper today about how the RSPCA are over flowing with unwanted pets
but this year they say people are more uncaring , not giving good excuses for giving up the animal ,
for a full grown lovely cat ...the cats fur didnt match the womens carpets ... !!!!!!
for 2bunny rabbits .......they didnt run to the door an greet them on coming home ... !!!!(thats what a dog does surely, lol)
some people need executing in their sleep .. :( an sending straight too HELL

Cat's don't 'love'. They are programmed automatons that respond to stimuli.

In order to have human emtions a cat would need a human brain.

A cat is unaware of it's own mortality. It has no concept of before or after.

A cat doesn't love it's owner. It is responding to it's DNA programming.

"There are some shortages at stations in south-east England and into the Midlands," a Shell spokesman said.
"It is connected to Buncefield.
"We are working hard to get fuel to those stations which have run out."
'Further shortages'
A Total spokesman said: "Some of our service stations are experiencing short-term supply issues as we re-order our distribution following Buncefield, but we are working hard to resolve the situation and our normal service levels should return."
But the Federation of Petroleum Suppliers warned that further shortages were likely.
"Buncefield was a very, very major supply source of fuel for the whole of south-east England," spokesman Rod Prowse said.
"When you have to fall back on alternatives, they are never quite as good.
"I'm sure in the months ahead there will be recurring problems."
The UK Petroleum Industry Association, however, said the shortages were "just localised effects" rather than a widespread long-term problem.
A few sources .. from the BBC this time??
So what is going down, down there?
Or are they all bullshotting?

BTW, you may have plenty, better if the stations had it tho !! :D :D :D
:D :D

Aha!

The biggest problem is the shortage of HVG drivers and Christmas holiday period is not helping as the motorists are also filling their car up unnecessary, obviously the supply demand is there but tanker driver have to travel further to collect it. Hopefully this should be only a little blip

Tanker driver used to be on good wages but not anymore

Ahaaa! Then there is a blip ??? Anyone know of a shortage? Or have we all tanked up pre xmas and not actually tried for more??

Some of what you have said is true - but not all of it!!!

CATs .. makes mentel " HATEFUL NOTE ON TWISTED **** POSTER WHO
I WILL KILL ...

* MENTAL NOTE *

In addition to cats having springier legs, small animals have an advantage when falling compared to larger ones because as your mass is proportional to volume, it goes up in cubes, but your air resistance, which slows your descent, is only proportional to one face of the animal, so goes up in squares, which is why a mouse or cat can fall out of a window without much ill effect, but a horse, or a cow, is a much messier affair....

You choose a dog to serve you

A cat chooses its servants ;)

Love cats, independent creatures. Hoping to 'adopt' one this year, also hoping my allergy has gone for good.
(Big difference living in the South-East of UK made, compared to living in heavy poluted South-West of The Netherlands.)

I've seen 2 good sigs about cats.

"My cat knows exactly how I feel. She doesn't care, but she knows"

"There are many intelligent species in the universe. They are all owned by cats."
