Hi, are then any regs *specific* to cable route/isolating switch position for an electric cooker?

cable route - safe zones as with any accessory.

cooker switch - within 2 metres of cooker.

the cooker switch is normally a 32A double pole switch, ie Isolates both phase and neutral.

Cable routing can simply be twin & Earth like any other domestic cable, but of the correct rating.
