Hi All,

I'm shortly going to be renovating an old 3 bed semi (1900 aprox)
With the plan is to let it out short term and to hopefully draw income in my later years as a pension fund....

It currently has no central heating, just a few open fires and few storage heaters. Gas is in the road but not connected to the property.

Having chatted with a few fitters they are talking around the £3500 mark to fit a gas boiler, radiators etc etc...

Before I take the jump I'm curious to know how effective this system could be just with an electric only system.

This could be a combination of, emersion heater or similar ?
Under floor heating ?
Storage heaters ?

Another plus of electric is that I could DIY some of it and I wouldnt have to get it certified each year as part of the lease conditons, as I would gas.

Any recomendations/advice appreciated.

Cheers,

Richard
