Electric shower problem: Triton hawaii

Hiya, I have a problem with my shower:

The water runs through but only cold!!

The cord is pulled and light goes on in box on ceiling butthe water runs cold only

What could it be, and is it fixable or is a new shower needed

I would appreciate any help offered

More likely the main tco has failed.
Check it for continuity with multi meter.

thanks seco for your help, what would cause the TCO to go. I have googled it and know what part too test

Sometimes they can fail due to age, condensation on top of heat can be be an issue causing false reading and then failing.
Most common reason is overheating shower due to poor flow ie blocked inlet filter, stopcock not fully open, shower head blocked or damaged inner hose.

This shower is getting very limited on parts now due to age.
