tell me about it :evil: I had the misfortune to fit ours (other than the electrics, I was a good lad and didn't break any BR*!)

I'm assuming the IP rating relies on the way the outer casing meshes with the transparent bit behind to channel water away from the insides, because certainly when using the top cutout for the water supply the only way to get the white bit alone to make a complete seal would be to use half a ton of mastic and wave goodbye to ever being able to take the case off again...



*Though any future electrical work now I'd probably do myself and notify
 
No, true. My builder fitted it. Didn't complain about it, though, and I quite liked the positive terminals to connect up. Not a choc block, better than that.
