I’m looking to fit underfloor electric mat heating in my kitchen just to take the chill off the tiles. Now I don’t have a massive budget so it looks to be buying a kit to go straight on the concrete floor and tile straight on top. Now I’m just wondering if anyone has any advice or recommendations on this and on any particular heating brands?

My tiler is laying it right this minute in my kitchen. Warmup is avaialble from Topps Tiles - he says it's a popular brand and very good.

I've used Devimat in the bathroom butam happy to go with his advice

my bathroom is a stupidly strange shape so mats wouldn't work, i got a wire kit from hotfloors.co.uk and will be laying it under mosaics next week. under normal tiles should be fine as is, as the mosaics are a bit more delicate i've ground in a tiny trench for the cable to sit in so the floor is flush (was a levelling compound base so very easy to grind)
