I have been asked to look at a friends dishwasher. It is approx 5 years old and the model is ESL 624. product number : 911841062. serial number : 11960155.
I turned it on, selected a programme and it started to drain out as normal, however, when it stops draining you can here the dispenser open (almost straight away ) but then nothing else happens. A minute or so passes before it stops completely ( by this I mean it stops as though it has ended ).
I didn't spend too much time looking at it but did listen for the humming of a water valve but it was just silent.
