I plan to change my Consumer Unit. There is a regular dial-type meter and an Economy 7 meter meter with electronic display. If I pull the Service Head fuse to isolate the power, I assume that it won't upset the electronic meter reading. ie I assume that it is backed up via battery or capacitor or memory. Can anyone reassure me on this?

Many thanks!

Yes, it will be backed up - I mean, otherwise everytime there's a power cut you would lose your readings.

well power cuts happen so the meter must have a backup supply i really wouldn't let it worry you ;)

Okay, thanks! I'm just a worrier!

I didn't want to reset the meter and then get accused of nobbling it.
