Euro 46 Alarm Issue

Hi!

I have the Euro 46 keypad. It’s worked fine since it was installed but I have recently discovered an issue.

The alarm sets and unsets fine with the key fobs.

The alarm sets fine with a user code or the manager code but no code will unset it.

All user accounts and the manager account are set to allow setting and unsetting of the alarm.

The issue is the same with all zones set (A) or night mode (B).

Does anyone know what the issue could be and can I fix it myself without needing a call out?

Will be in settings to unset using a user code think they put this on for monitored alarms shops etc to stop faults alarms

If you don’t have the engineer code , then no you can’t sort yourself

I was told this is the new standard now? Is this correct? If so, I’ll just leave it as is.

its long been the case to prevent false alarns on monitored systems that entry requires a tag, in case someone forgets there user code.

That’s why I thought it was odd.

In my case, when I come down in the morning I could have just entered the code to unset it. Instead I will need to grab the keys and use the fob.

Yeah it’s monitored. Coming up on a year old now.
