Low pressure on hot water system

Is it possible and good practise to fit an expansion vessel with correct fittings (i.e safety release valves/pressure reducing valves) to a conventional system?

Got a job to look at where the first floor has bad pressure and the loft area has to have a shower pump.

Regards,

Martin

really can't see that it would acheive anything as all that would happen is a slug of pressurised water would come out, the expansion vessel would empty and then you would be back to where you started.
an accumalator tank would be a better idea.
if i understand the question right!
