Resurrecting this one and hopefully you are still online. I have the exact same Bristan Pisa shower, in fact two of them. Both are slowing down so much now I think it will be easier to simply teke them off and replace them with those Wayfair ones, which they still do.Success!
OldBuild was right - the existing nuts are identical to those supplied with the new valve.
So no need for olive pullers or cutting.
New valve is now on and working. Just need to "soak test" it for a couple of days to make sure no leaks.
