extending 10mm cooker cable

Hi i need to move a cooker control unit 2m further away from its existing position. is there a simple way to add a 2m extension to the cooker cable.
The overal final run will be within the recommended range for cooker rating and cable size.

you could leave the existing cooker control unit where it is and wire a second one to its output
