Hi
I have an inglenook where the hearth is about 100mm high made from very rough blockwork. I want to put a woodburner in there and Ive measured the depth of inglenook and the woodburner and I have to increase the depth of the hearth by 150mm so that it complies with having the 300mm of hearth in front of the woodburner.
Does the new 150mm of hearth need to be same height as the existing hearth?
Can I lay any non-combustible material such as http://www.bertiesdirect.co.uk/genw...MIoeDctJC82gIVDFXTCh1vjAaqEAkYCSABEgI2A_D_BwE
Thanks
