extending tube to air button

hi, can i extend the tube to the push button on my concealed cistern by cutting and inserting a piece in the middle i can't see the end in the tank and the end on the button looks like a sealed unit, thanks glyn

Yes you can - but any leaks there means no flush.....these systems need a sharp pulse of air to get them going.

thank you john for your fast reply, i will keep as short as possible and will seal it with a glue or solvent weld, hopefuly this will work, thanks once again glyn
