Exterior gloss query

Hi, I would like to obtain some exterior gloss in shade 70RR 10/250 (a purple/plum shade) - my queries are:

1. Where can I get that mixed, is it oil or water based and what is the minimum amount ?
2. Is that code a "Dulux only" paint code or a "universal" paint code ?

That's a Dulux paint code and will need to come from a Dulux decorating center or any where that has a Dulux mixing machine.You may be able to get a colour match in other makes from a swatch but seldom are they an exact match

The code is for the colour only, not for the finish. You can usually get any particular colour made up in any finish or type of paint (o/b, w/b, etc) - there are a few exceptions. You may also find that for some types of paint they will only mix a minimum of 2.5 litres (even if you don't want that much). I discovered recently that was the case for darker-based colours in silk emulsion, for example.
