Extraction Fan

Hi all.
I would like to know if you are allowed to put ventilation ducting and the fan in between floor's?

only if your talking 2 or three metres slightly down hill to an exterior vent
not the exact facts but near enough

Do you own both floors? If not, then there are fire control issues to consider.
